Habilitation Services consists of individual and group habilitation for consumers, focusing on the non-employment aspects of Life. Over the last several years we have been focused on employment so much that one consumer asked " Isn't there more to life than work?" and our response is, of course there is!
Group Habilitation Community offers consumers a variety of opportunities to participate in group activities with peers who share similar interests. Most groups are small, and in the community including volunteer group, movie club, bowling group etc.
Day Program offers a variety of classes in an educational type atmosphere. The program is adapted to consumer's interests, abilities and time preferences. This give consumers the choice to attend all day every day or a half day 2-3 days a weeks, or just attend the classes they have interest in. Training classes such as physical fitness, arts and crafts, cooking, functional academics, health and hygiene, science etc. We also offer one on one to individual consumers which enables them to work on specific person centered activities such as reading, writing skills, cooking simple meals, individual fitness etc.
